Hit singlom "Lip Gloss" potpuno je zaludela tinejdzerke sirom sveta ponudivsi im slavljenicku himnu u kojoj je izrazila sve svoje umetnicke talente. Rodjena je 4.oktobra 1989.u New Yorku,a zahvaljujuci potpunoj posvecenosti umetnosti i predanom radu na sebi izbegla je turbo detinjstvo po haustorima Harlema s kojim se susrecu njeni vrsnjaci afro-americkog porekla. Odrasla je u porodici sa osmoro brace i sestara ,pa je sa samo deset godina,zeleci da zaradi prvi dzeparac,zamolila oca da je odvede u studio njegovog priljatelja gde je svoje stihove uz pomoc aranzmana pretocila u prve rap pesme.
